Hans J. Dys spent over a decade as Vice President of Production for highly acclaimed, innovative independent Canadian broadcaster, "ITV" in Edmonton. As head of production he was involved in a wide assortment of productions including SCTV's launch in the early 1980's. His production credits include producing, writing and directing commercials, documentaries and dramatic series.

In 1991, Dys formed Apple Box Productions, operating as a Division of Vancouver based Western International Communications (WIC). Through his guidance Apple Box Productions became one of Canada's most respected and trusted commercial production companies, operating with production offices in Vancouver, Edmonton and Toronto.

After the sale of Apple Box Productions to CanWest, Dys established FILMBratz Productions. Today, FILMBratz Productions continues to serve Canadian, American and international clients, with a unique dedication for providing highly efficient, end-to-end production solutions.
